To celebrate the warm days while we have them, we’re throwing a party. We’ll have kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, bonfires-and even tacos! So, come out and enjoy hanging out with other young adults. Life Group Update for 23rd & 30th

For the next two Sundays (August 23rd and 30th), we’ll be meeting at George’s House instead of mine. Amy & Russ will be leading things in my absence, so connect with them if you have any questions. We’ll still be meeting at 6:00pm and start with a potluck dinner.

We might be a little short on chairs, so if you have a folding chair of some sort–bring it!

Sports Day

Grab some lunch and head to the Calvary Community Center for sports–basketball and volleyball. We’ll meet at 2:00 pm and play until 5:00 pm. BBQ & Bible Study

When asked what the greatest commandment in the Hebrew Scriptures, Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ “ Matthew 22:37-39 If you want to learn better how to love other people and love God, join us for a Bible Study every Sunday.

We start with a potluck dinner, then we spend time learning from and praying for each other. Bring something to share for a the dinner and come join us for a journey of faith!

Americorps & Habitat for Humanity

Become a member of AmeriCorps and complete your service project with Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity (CDHFH) as a Volunteer Coordinator. The Volunteer Coordinator will assist in recruiting, retaining and recognition of volunteers for CDHFH.

Softball this Sunday
