As a husband I should:
• love her
• sacrifice for her
• listen to her
• take care of her
• be sensitive to her needs
• be sensitive to her hurts
• lead (spiritually)
As a wife I should:
• respect him
• acknowledge his calling as “head” of the marriage/family
• respond to his leadership (spiritually)
• listen to him
• praise him
• be unified in purpose (a shared responsibility)
• be a help (Gen. 2:18)
